Fort Lauderdale powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas has been
known somewhat as a Florida State pipeline over the last
few years, and Bobby Hart is no different. The 6'5,
295-pound offensive tackle made his pledge to Florida
State earlier today, and discussed his decision with
ThaRinger.com.
Hart visited several schools, but it was his recent
visit to Tallahassee that cemented it.
"I decided after my last visit," Hart said. "I'm
shutting it down after this. I'm not going to talk to
any other schools."
Hart also discussed what made FSU stick out over the
other contenders.
"It feels like home," he said. "Everyone makes me feel
at home. Coach Trickett is the best coach in the nation,
and I'm ready to play for him."
What were the coaches reaction when he committed?
"I committed to Coach (Eddie) Gran, and he screamed."
Hart said
"I think I have a good chance to play early. I'm just
going to work hard."
He also has a message for the entire Seminole fan base.
"Lets go get us some rings."
In Hart, Florida State landed one of their top 3
offensive line targets and continued their trend of
dipping into the South Florida talent pool. The
four-star offensive tackle is the Seminoles 14th verbal
commitment. Hart comes in at #151 in ThaRinger.com's
Spring Top 250 for the class of 2011.
For
Kiehl Frazier, the awards, and scholarship offers, keep
on coming. The 6’3” 210 pound star signal-caller from
Arkansas’ Shiloh Christian was just recently named the
2009 4A Arkansas Player of the Year. The next morning,
TCU offered him a scholarship. It was the 14th offer for
Frazier already.
November 23rd, 2004 was
an exciting day in Columbia, South Carolina. A
day filled with hope and anticipation of what
was to come. The Gamecocks had just inked a SEC
coaching legend to coach their football team.
The "Fun 'n' Gun" was coming to save the day or
at least make it better. Surely a coach that led
Duke University to an ACC title could fix the
little problems at South Carolina.
With the 2010 recruiting cycle inching towards
the finish line, here at ThaRinger we feel it’s
a better time to more clearly evaluate the
off-season’s coaching changes with the recently
gained recruiting hindsight. There were 22 head
coaching changes and not all of those changes
were created equally.
